Leading up to the release of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1" on DVD and Blu-Ray, Warner Bros. has launched a new interactive website for Potter fans.
Known as Harry Potter: The Quest, fans can register for free, play games, earn points, and unlock exclusive content and videos!
Once a million points are accumulated by the site's members, a special "Secrets of the Cast Revealed!" feature will be unlocked.
[edit] Point Rewards
- Receive 35 points for registering.
- Receive 10 points just for logging in to the site.
- Receive 10 points towards your total after watching a video posted in the Video section. Videos mostly comprise of two-minute clips from the movie Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (film). Also includes the official trailer to part 1 of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (film).
- Receive 5 points towards your total after downloading each of the official Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (film) Part 1 movie wallpapers. The Downloads section also includes Twitter skins.
- The first reward was a video Secrets of the Cast Revealed. This reward was unlocked after reaching 1 million points.
- The second reward will be Go Behind the Scenes! Seven Harrys? Take a closer look... This reward will be unlocked after the community score reaches 6 million.
