St Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries is a magical hospital for helping witches and wizards who have received injuries or have some problem that they cannot treat themselves. Those who work there are called Healers. They wear the emblem of the hospital on their uniform, which is a crossed wand and bone.

Somewhere in the heart of London, behind a department store called Purge & Dowse Ltd. It always claims to be 'Closed for Refurbishment'.[1]

At the reception there is a floor plan to guide visitors and patients to their destination.

This is where those who are affected by things such as a cauldron exploding, a wand backfiring or a broom crash would go.

For those who have received bites, stings, burns or embedded spines and so on. It contains the 'Dangerous' Dai Llewellyn Ward for serious bites. This is where Arthur Weasley was sent when he was bitten by the snake, Nagini.

According to the floor plan, this is for unliftable jinxes, hexes, incorrectly applied charms and more. They have a ward for long-term residents. When Harry Potter visited the hospital in 1995 they included Gilderoy Lockhart, Alice and Frank Longbottom and Broderick Bode.[2]
