"Follow the Owl" (Quote from Jo in her You Tube announcement regarding Pottermore on June 23, 2011.) Pottermore website can be found here.

On June 15th, 2011, Jo played a game with her fans. Placing glues around various websites, we were let to finally locate the [1] site. As of today (6/16/2011) we do not know what the site will be used for. According to Leaky's article here "Leaky has seen a preview of Pottermore and it is, in a word, breathtaking. That is all we are permitted to say at the moment."
Information: Description of Pottermore to come when we know more about it.

Update: June 23rd release. Piottermore is an online reading experience that will allow the reader to take part in the story.

In an announcement which will thrill fans, she described how she has brought to life both the Sorting Hat and Ollivanders experiences from her books for the first time on Pottermore, by revealing the questions asked by the Sorting Hat - which places newcomers into their Hogwarts houses according to their characteristics - and the magic behind the Wand Chooser – which finds the right wand for each user from over 33,000 possible combinations. She also revealed glimpses of the new information she has provided on some of the best-loved characters.

As Pottermore was introduced to Fans, Jo used a set of clues that were released on various fan web sites. The clues were sets of coordinates that led to a website called Secret Street View.

This is not a new book, but it is something equally exciting. As a teaser before the official announcement, ten letters have been hidden on this website for you to find. To locate them you just need to enter ten individual coordinates in the search box and explore.

The coordinates are being revealed among ten Harry Potter fan sites throughout the 15th and 16th of June 2011. Find the correct sites and you could be one of the first to piece the word together.
