Marge Dursley

Marge Dursley is the sister of Vernon Dursley and aunt of his son, Dudley. She is fond of Dudley and her sister-in-law, Petunia Dursley. However she shares their view of Petunia's family and dislikes her inherited nephew, Harry Potter.

When Petunia and Vernon discovered, to their horror, that their usual baby-sitter for Harry, Mrs Figg, had broken her leg, Vernon considered his sister, Marge, as an alternative. However Petunia dismissed the thought, stating that Marge hated the boy.[1]

During his fifth year at Hogwarts, Harry has to take lessons in Occlumency with his least favourite professor, Severus Snape. These lessons bring up memories from Harry's past, some of which include Marge. One memory Harry relives is of Ripper chasing him up a tree, which Snape is amused by.[2]
