The Keeper is a position that a player takes on a Quidditch team. Their job is to block goals that the Chasers on the opposing team try to score with the Quaffle. The Keeper flies around the three hoops at his end of the pitch, guarding them. Every time a Chaser manages to pass the Keeper and score a goal, their team scores 10 points.^[1]
