Chasers

Chasers are players who attempt to score goals on a Quidditch team. They do this by trying to gain possesion of the Quaffle, flying to the end of the pitch where the opposing team's goalposts are and throwing the Quaffle through one of the hoops. The Keeper on the opposite team will try to block the hoops. To gain possession of the Quaffle without fouling the other player they need to take the Quaffle from them without holding the other player. Beaters can help their own Chasers by aiming a Bludger at the Chasers of the opposing team so that it can try to unseat or distract them. Every time a Chaser manages to pass the Keeper and score a goal, their team scores 10 points.^[1]
