Afternoon all!

It’s sad to see it so quiet here. Since it seems pretty much decided to “live” on the other site permanently, I am now hoping there will be some sort of discussion-worthy news soon so we could maybe have a poll that would generate some interest. Then, at the very least, we could keep the comments going…and even be on topic (imagine that)! I had gotten to the point where I didn’t even want new polls because lately they’ve been the type where you (as a non-regular) would comment once and feel no need to come back to see how others had responded to you. And the randoms just interrupted our everyday conversations. But now that we’re not here to be interrupted, I do hope the old purpose of the poll can be resurrected.

I remember that the first poll I lurked all the way through was the one that went up after the DH title was announced. There was so much interesting discussion about what it might mean, and it went on for so long before things really went off topic. It would be great to have that again. Sort of like getting back to our HP roots, and hopefully that would bring us some new friends. :)

Jen I think it is HIGH TIME JKR produced SOMETHING for us to talk about. This summer will be three years with nothing but Beetle the Bard in between to break things up. I wonder how long it is going to take her to write whatever it is she is writing?

HAPPY TUESDAY TO ALL!!!! QUIET!!!! ME!!!! I DON’T THINK SO!!!!!!
IT IS GOING TO BE A WONDERFUL DAY!!! I HAD MY HOME INSPECTION DONE LAST NIGHT AT ABOUT 4PM, IT LASTED UNTIL 6PM, IT WENT PRETTY GOOD, THERE WERE A FEW THINGS REGARDING THE CRAWL SPACE UNDER THE HOUSE, BUT NOTHING THAT WAS MAJOR OVERALL!!! YES!!!!!!!! SO NOW WHEN THE REPORT COMES BACK AND OUT, I WILL HAVE A SETTLEMENT DATE, AND ONCE THE NEW PUMP HAS BEEN INSTALLED THE HOME INSPECTOR WILL BE BACK TO CHECK IT OUT ALSO!!! IF EVERYTHING ELSE GOES OK, I SHOULD BE ABLE TO MOVE IN BEFORE THE END OF MARCH, JUST IN TIME FOR SPRING!!!!! I HOPE!!!! lol

Deanie, your question reminds me how long some of you have been here. I didn’t find you ‘til after DH was released. I’d have loved to have been here whilst anticipating a new book, it must have been a lot of fun, comparing theories, and then sharing in the excitement when the book was released.

Jen, I just realised the above touches on your post too. But I do love the way our friendships have carried on over the last few years, even without a new book! I hope school’s going well for you.
