I think in get smart… only because the trailer was in the order of the Phoenix.

Batman would be the best option of the ones given due to movie type. Myself I will first see it on line.

i picked hancock but it could be in batman i just wish it would come out soon because i love the movies, and i can’t wait till oct. to see it as a trailer.as for the one pic of harry with a suitcase and it had an s and it so it has to be a note from his goodfather and giving him the mirror that h is going to need in the last movie.

Ironsos I admire your patience. In my head I know that the trailer will be online in less than 24 hours after it debuts on the big screen, but I can’t wait that long. When it comes to waiting for things I want really bad (or even just a little bit, LOL) I am still four years old. :)

I put in front of Batman. Like ironsos said, it seems like the right movie type; my only hesitation is release date. However, I really don’t care because I’m so apathetic towards the movies (and apathetic is a really mild word for how I feel). I haven’t gone to see a movie just for the trailer yet, and I’m sure as heck not going to start for this one.

Agreed, even if WB states that the trailer will be in front of whichever movie, I won’t go and see it just because of that trailer. However, if perchance, it’s with the Batman DK movie than I will see it, because I have planned to see Batman anyways. And one of my flatmates is a huge comic fan.

However, I can’t wait to hear of more updates from the Leaky. My one-stop shop of everything HP.

Let me know if Get Smart’s any good as well, I like Steve Carrell but I am undecided if I will go to the theatres to see it.

Ahhh, people are showing up. :) I just finished catching up on the last one, but the last thing I said was for you, Laura about the wand order, so I will just repeat it here: Ironsos was correct, that is a mistake, but it was not made by Jo, it was made by her US editors who switched it for some reason. It only appears in the first edition (or maybe first two?), as far as I know, it was caught and corrected after that. We have one first edition (LemonDrop’s) and the rest are all later, as we started wanting our own copies, and it is corrected in all of them.

Interesting, Lemon. I guess I have the first edition audiobook, I’ll have to check my hard copies at home.

You guys all have more self-restraint than I do, clearly! LOL Not only will I go see a movie I don’t want to see just to catch a glimpse of the trailer, I will go to the very first showing. However, I do actually want to see all three of these movies, so it will not be a hardship to go!

Laura I am very sorry that the movies are such bad experiences for you. :( I totally understand your feelings, believe me, even though I still somehow love them. I have a sort of love/hate relationship with them a lot of the time, but I have trained myself to separate them as much as possible from the books and just enjoy them for what they are. I am usually pretty successful unless I have just read that particular book for the movie I am watching. I find this is especially true for OoTP which I have gone back and forth on more than any of the others combined. That movie, every single time I watch it, there is absolutely no middle ground, I either LOVE it or HATE it. I can’t figure it out. It’s a but like being bipolar or something! LOL Split personality? I don’t know my psychological personality disorders well enough, but something like that…

That should say: “It’s a BIT like being bipolar…” not “It’s BUT!” LOL Damn typos…

I didn’t even catch that you were referring to the audiobooks, Laura but I guess since he reads straight from the book, that would make sense and I think GoF was the first time that the Uk and US editions were released at the same time, so that may have had something to do with how it got overlooked as a mistake? I don’t know. If he reads from the US editions… Hmm. I just don’t know now! LOL

I doubt it will show on any of these three. I still plan to go see them cuz they look quite good. BTW, people who think Dark Knight is the perfect movie… Where are you basing that from? because it looks not kid friendly or G-rated like all previous movies where HP trailers premiered (like Happy Feet, yada yada yada)

Lemon, yeah, I can’t separate the movies and the books, and that’s my problem with the movies. And they’ve been going downhill for me since CoS – I still watch the first two a lot, but haven’t seen the last two in a long while.
