Happy Friday, everyone! Thanks for all the birthday wishes. I’ve been playing all morning, so now its time to head to campus. We’ll see how long my attention span lasts. ;)

Deanie and Felipe The statue of RR was right there in the Ravensclaw Common Room. Surely other Ravensclaw students had mentioned it in passing. Some mention must have been given in Hogwarts a History. I mean JKR is famous for hiding things in plain sight but RR was so off the radar. We mention all those house ghosts except for Helga R. We even mention the Bloody Baron and question why he is covered in blood, but the whole RR thing is such a throw away. I am acromonious!

Rhiannon, JKR did hide the diadem/tiara in plain sight in HBP when Harry’s hiding his Potions book. I think it would have been too easy to guess if we knew about the lost diadem as well as the tiara in the RoR; people had already guess that the tiara Harry put on the bust was a horcrux without knowing about RR….

I have to get ready to go to the Orpheum to usher and stand duty tonight. I have to calm down, eat something and change clothes.

Deanie It is an improvement because when I was doing my brother’s birthday card I kept thinking that it was someone else’s birthday too. The fact that Laura’s name didn’t come to me isn’t the point but rather that I remembered it was someone else’s birthday too. I should have looked on my list. It was probably there but I don’t keep it in front of me all the time now. Thanks.

I have been working overtime again. I thought my work was over since the schedules were done. I was SO WRONG!! :( :(

I had to re-do schedules, sit at meeting with 6th grade teachers and take note about where students were placed and how it was not wise for students to be placed there.

I have never done that before but the new principal has great ideas and I think it will help the students. It just meant more work for me. Today I worked over time typing up all the notes from the meeting. I don’t see the overtime easing at all since we are getting so close to graduation and that is a whole different monster. :(
