Joesphine, how I wish I had seen your post earlier!! I signed off right after I posted mine. And unfortunately, your advice would have saved me quite a bit of pain, I think – sure enough, as soon as the numbness and tingling had completely faded away, the pain hit BIG TIME! :(

I’ve just taken a Vicodin, and came here to start catching up…and saw your post. I’ll continue catching up until the medicine finally knocks me out, so if I suddenly disappear, nobody worry! ;)

Lemon, I hope *LP*’s volleyball game went well! I know exactly what you mean about being convinced they hadn’t done anything yet when you came out of the anesthesia – that’s exactly how I was! I could swear I can account for every minute I was there…almost immediately after they started the IV (I think it was immediate), the nurse asked how I was feeling,and I asked if it could actually have taken affect so quickly because I felt a bit tired and lightheaded, and then the doctor walked in (I thought it was right as I was finishing saying that) and said “Okay, everything looks good,” (So I thought he meant it looked like we were ready to start.) “Everything went very well.” I couldn’t believe it was over, and I cannot figure out when it was that I went under!! It’s kind of frustrating!

Your doctor sounds great! I liked the one I went to, though he definitely wasn’t quite so playful as yours, LOL. He did call here personally, shortly after I signed off earlier – it was just after 7 – to see how I was doing. That was when I was still somewhat numb, and I was saying how great I felt, and he did warn me to take it easy – to continue the icing and not to chew too much even if I thought I wasn’t having much pain, because the pain and swelling will build to a peak over the next 36 hrs, and I will only exacerbate it if I overdo it. So I stuck with my garlic mashed potatoes (you’re welcome to Apparate over for some anytime, Sirius) and didn’t try to find something heartier to go with them. :)

Okay, I’m just going to say goodnight now. I’ve finished reading all the post, but I’ll getting sleepy and don’t feel like typing anymore. I’ll be back tomorrow; talk to you then! Have good night all!

And you, too, BWJen, I know you won’t see this now until tomorrow, but I hope the pain meds kicked in and you are resting comfortably. Be sure to keep taking them right before you feel like you really need them to help keep the pain staved off, but in a day or so hopefully you won’t even need them at all. I’m sorry you are hurting now! Take it easy on yourself. Thanks for asking about the game, too, it was GREAT! They lost, actually, but the girls played so well and LemonPrincess had some awesome plays in there, it was really exciting. They were pretty upset afterward because the game was so close and they could have won several times if things had gone their way. But that happens, sometimes. Our girls were having a little trouble serving today, which is unusual for them (not LP but several teammates) so we ended up giving the other team a lot of free points that really made the difference. They also had one AWESOME, I mean totally amazing, server on the other team, she cost us a LOT of points. She will be on varsity her freshman year of high school, I am sure! Probably going to one of our big rival schools
grumble grumble sigh LOL But it was a very exciting match!

We went out to dinner and are settling in now. LemonPrincess is at her Halloween dance. She dressed up in the faerie costume she made herself, I am sure there will be great pics. She looked amazing. LemonDrop is up at UW Seattle for her team trip, they go up every year to watch the college team play one of their big rivals and have dinner and shop up there. It’s pretty quiet around here right now, but the DS and I rented a bunch of movies, so we just have to get the little one to bed and we can dig in. :) I hope you all have a good night and I will see you tomorrow!

Well I have been trying to get online since yesterday at 5pm, the Website Explorer would not show itself, it turned out to be my old connection to Norton, that was blocking me from being able to get online!!! I now have McAFee!!!! well I had to call comcast, to help me eliminate my old Norton, before I could get my protection straighten out, and I was so upset that I could not post here, I was beside myself!!!!!

To answer the questions:

I have been in love with Harry Potter since 2000, the year before the first movie came out. Harry Potter is my own little get away from reality. My favorite Potter book is Prisoner of Azkaban and my favorite movie is also Prisoner of Azkaban. My least favorite book is Chamber of Secrets and my least favorite movie is Order of the Phoenix (they killed that book. Sorry to the people who liked it) I have read Sorcerer’s Stone 7 times, Chamber of Secrets 3 times, Prisoner of Azkaban 12 times, Goblet of Fire 6 times, Order of the Phoenix 4 times, Half Blood Prince 4 times (going to read it for the 5th time next year before the movie) and Deathly Hallows 5 times (it is my second favorite). I started reading the books every year but I just couldn’t. So, I just read the one’s I enjoyed more than some.

I identify myself with chocolate. It is my favorite food ever! I have some at least once a day.

Well, I’m not a drinker, but I am old enough to drink. Hope that was good enough?

I enjoy reading. I watch some TV. Just the normal things one does in one’s life.

I enjoy talking about anything really.

Hi Bookworm Jen, The picnic was terrific, the Juggernauts did not win, but we put on a fierce fight!!!!LOL, we had a dynamite cheerleading squad, and kept up the team spirit!!!!!!!!! we only lost be 2 points, it was a lot of fun and my Macaroni Salad came in 2nd place overall!!!(not too shabby)!!!! Our gold poms shown like magic in the sun!!!! My fingers are so cold, that they are stiff!! making it hard for me to type!!!!LOL. I hope you are having a terrific Saturday!!

Welcome to Lunaluu, Choco, and Hermione Weasley I’m a 61 year old grandma. Hence my avatar. I have trouble with my eys. I can only see what is in front of my face. So sometimes I overlook a post with no avatar unless it’s a long post. This new format has helped a little. I also have a slight current memory problem so until you have been here awhile unless I write an answer down while I’m reading, I won’t remember to post it. Nothing personal. I’ve been a little slack recently on writing myself notes. Lol

With all my thinking about what I’m going to go as tonight, I decided to take the easy way out. I’m going as a Nascar Zombie fan. This way I will only have to put a little grease paint on my face and I’m good to go. I’m wearing my Dale Earnhart Jacket , hat, and shirt. The DS is wearing his Jeff Gordon stuff. This way we can be warm and not hindered by a lot of extra stuff. Since it’s outside and I won’t be able to see much this is the prioity over a massive costume. Lol The days are over when I go all out. Sigh

My brother is going with us and he’s in worse shape than I am. He can barely walk. Won’t we be a pair? Lol He’s going as Tony Stewart fan. At least we will all match.
