Cingratulations PotterBoy!!

I’ve been watching some of the Puppy Bowl XI on Animal Planet. The kitties at half time were very cute and I like the new touches this year. They had guinea pigs in the “blimp” and Rabbit cheerleaders. ;)

And just to clarify it is 10:32 on Sunday February 7. ;)

I did not sleep well last night. So, as soon as I get something to eat, swap out the wet laundry into the dryer and start another load, decide what I’m wearing to work tomorrow, take my pills, reload my pillbox and take the hound out for a last trip, I’m going to bed. ;)

Bbt. ;)

Let me see…I need to wait for my laundry, take my pills, clean the kitchen and take the terrier and the lab outside for one last time.

Evening all! Just a very fast run-through. Got home from the meet-up a little while ago…it was a lot of fun, but I am absolutely exhausted – this was the most active I’ve been since being sick over the last week. So I am hurrying to bed. Tomorrow I work in the morning, but will probably be around in the afternoon & evening. Talk to you then! :)

Lady Hawke I am sorry you got stuck with more snow. I hope you can still do something with your friend. ;)

By the way, we will be in your area on our return home fro Oklahoma on Saturday the first of May. I hope we can meet for a meal and maybe a few pictures. ;)

The thermometer on my desk says it is 69 F and I feel cool. It’s a good thing I was expecting this and dressed warm. If I get too cool, I have an extra sweater and a fleece throw that I can use. 69 wouldn’t feel quite as cool if I was up and doing something physical. Most of my work is done sitting still & using the computer. My feet start feeling the cold first because the floors are concrete, even covered with carpet they are a bit too cool. ;)

Well that’s enough of my griping. ;)

Bbl. ;)

Yes, let’s plan another meetup.

We have about 5 inches so far and it is still snowing. It is supposed to change over to a mixture of freezing rain and sleet later and more sleet and snow tonight.

My friend is now spending the day trying shuttle her DS from one audition point to another while just sticking it out with him wherever he is. I had intended to go along with them and she and I were going to find ways of entertaining ourselves as we moved him from place to place, having pockets of 3 hours at a time to go shop and drink and talk. Now she is just going to camp wherever he is until he has to move again.

My DS has determined to stay home, except for a trip to his chiropractor, if they are open. He was planning on going in late anyway as his back was bothering him and had already made his appointment. Now, he is going to try to make his appointment and bring in some milk and eggs.

I know we won’t starve it he can’t go to the store but I will have to get creative on what we eat. There were enough eggs for him to have breakfast. I had a piece of pita bread with some goat cheese. Our daughter is eating dry cereal because she is going to want the remaining milk for hot chocolate later. If this extends another day there will be no breakfast food for tomorrow and no more hot chocolate either.

I can manage lunches and dinner, just not breakfast, outside of dry cereal and cheese and bread.

My friend and her DS actually have to drive to a hotel at the airport to view the “Call Back” notices from the auditions. Then, the actual Call Backs will be held at the hotel near the airport. I live near the airport. She says they will come get me and bring me home so she can have some company while he is involved.

So, the DS and child will be eating pizza tonight. I guess maybe I’m the one bringing home milk and eggs if my friend will let me walk into Kroger when they bring me home.

So, I have to go shower. This looks like a nice sweat suit and snow boots kind of day to me. Not exactly fashionable but it will have to do.

I will have to think about the Academy Award Poll. I haven’t seen many of the movies but I will take a wild guess and say that I suspect AVATAR for BEST PICTURE and BEST DIRECTOR.

I am undecided but I will also say I think Meryl Streep or Sandra Bullock will win for BEST ACTRESS. Otherwise I haven’t seen any of the performances.

Oh, if I had to guess I think UP will win for ANIMATED FEATURE.

My best wishes to HBP for cinematography.

Afternoon all! I have just received a text SMS message via my landline which I had difficulty in hearing but I think it was from Asti. She will not be posting for a while because she has an important matter to attend to in connection with her parents and she didn’t want us to worry. I won’t be more specific than that in case I misheard. Bbl.
