Hi MM! I dreaded it at first too, but now I find it really convenient. It’s easier to keep up there than here because the posts are shorter, and if you just view the Live Feed, you can keep track of everything all on one page. Plus, you get notifications if people comment on something you’ve posted or commented upon, so you don’t have to keep looking back at old posts; just wait until you get a notification of a comment. :)

Facebook will send you e-mails with notifications when people post something on your wall (profile page) or when someone comments on something you wrote on somebody else’s profile, so it keeps you up to date with your conversations without you having to go back.

Yes, you get notifications through email, and also in the bottom right corner of the screen there’s a box for notifications. If there’s a red box with a number in it, that’s how many notifications are waiting for you. Just click on it, and the box will open to tell you, for example, “Jen commented on your status”…if you click on the word “status”, it will bring you to the exact post so you can see my comment.

Same with me. It doesn’t take too long to see if anyone has written something other than what shows up when they are farming, playing mafia wars, etc. You can usually do it while your waiting on a response from someone here.

MM Yes I did send you an email. Look at the top of any page on FB. There should be a inbox which says you have one message. Click on it and it will take you to my message. It works like the owls do here.

MM if you ever find your inbox at the top of any FB page, I gave you some instructions to help you find your way around FB. I think I will copy it and send it to you in an owl here.

Are you getting email notifications? Maybe you have to adjust something in settings to get them. Either way, I wouldn’t worry about it for now. Just spend some time getting comfortable with the site, clicking around and seeing what you can see! :)

Speaking of crying, I just watched The Notebook for the first time. I’ve been crying for a solid 1.5 hours. I now have a movie I think is sadder than Up.

Laura It is one of the saddest movies I have ever seen. Of course Old Yeller is the absolute top of the list for tear jeakers. Thanks for the warning about UP.

The Bridge To Terabitha made me cry…

Hi Laura! I still haven’t seen the movie either. I did read the book and sobbed through that, so I can imagine how sad the movie is. I haven’t watched all of Up yet either. I started it with my nephew…we’ll have to finish it next time I’m over there.

Won I don’t remember that one off hand but I’m sure I watched it at one time or another. Sometimes you feel better after a good cry over a movie. Lol
