BBBBBOOOOOOOOOOOO the Yankees lost so now it is 3 to 2 in the Series
night ya’ll
just finished watching "Dark City" (the director’s cut,the best way to see it)
It is one great movie I would recomend to everyone.
Sirius b I was refering to Meatloaf who sang the song you posted.
night all.
Morning all! I have been struggling with my avatar this morning. This website is a mess, and has been for a very long time. I’m going to concentrate on my real life back log a lot more.
I hope to be home doing my at home stuff and checking in from time to time. Things can always change but I forsee a day of laundry, processing more tomatoes, cleaning and hanging about.
I just put up some photos of some of our clean crystals at CC, as well as a couple of photos of how the Halloween costume turned out just before we left the house. My daughter has a low hairline. I could not completely cover her natural hairline with the wig.
Ggod grief!!! I have 10 pages to catch up and over 50 licenses to issue today. I don’t think I will get caught up today. ;)
I hope you all had a good weekend. ;)
I have insomnia. I have been unable to sleep for more than an hour and a half, usually only an hour or less, since Saturday. ;)
BbwIc. ;)
Deanie
The time change is killing me this time. I was waking up too early anyway and then we had the time change and now I am waking up 2 to 3 hours earlier than I have to. I’m going to bed at the "new" time and having problems following asleep so I am getting chopped from both ends.
I’ve made the sauce for beef stroghanoff for dinner tonight. Now, I have another smallish pot of marinara sauce on cooking, more for the freezer, had to use those tomatoes.
I’ve unloaded two loads from the dryer and have another in and another washed and waiting to go in.
I’m also still getting hungry too early in the day. It is 11 AM and I want lunch.
Good Morning Leaky friends. Having another busy morning. Things are really popping with all the flu and colds going around. More like Jan. than Nov.
I got caught up here while I was doing receptionist duties. One is out and the other needed to go to lunch. Luckily this is the one who spreads around relief duties to several people because she knows I get stuck doing most of it when she isn’t here. ;)
Off to try and make a larger dent in those 50 licenses I need to issue. ;)
Another load out of the dryer, another load in.
Marinara done and cooling in the fridge.
Fresh green beans steaming for dinner.
Dish washer running so I have a colander to drain the egg noodles in for dinner.
Ceiling fans cleaned and carpet vacuumed.
Must go find all the pieces of the soccer uniform in the clean laundry.
Then, I am lying down to read for a bit.
Wotcher Ya’ll
oh Ironsos I should have guessed that .
Lady Hawke what is your avatar?
don’t forget to vote today if applicable
Hi gang, I am glad to report that the biopsy came back negative… I am now sitting in a chair in my room at the hospital, waiting for my release… I am on Sally’s laptop, as they would not allow me to bring one with me in my room! If all goes well, I will be back home some time late tonight, or early tomorrow… Either way I feel a whole lot better! Sirius I do believe that is a portrait of Pocahontas…
My avatar is Pocahontas. I am a Southerner. My people came in through VA. Virginia celebrated Thanksgiving one year and 17 days BEFORE the Pilgrims in MA . It is just another example of politically correct historians rewriting history to suit themselves. So, my Thanksgiving avatar is Pocahontas.

Here is a link about the First Thanksgiving in VA.
Won So glad things turned out well and I’m glad you have WiFi at the hospital. I couldn’t imagine you having to go somewhere without Wifi. Why can Sally bring in a laptop and you couldn’t? And, yes, Won, points to you for recognizing Pocahontas.
LH, As a patient, I would have had to put my laptop in the hospital safe room along with my other valuables. They would not even allow me to wear my Rolex on my wrist! They said there have been ‘incidents’ in the past, and such things present temptations! Apparently, as I was being shuffled around from room to room for testing for the last 24 hours, my valuables would be in danger of theft…
Well, I should say that if I had signed a waiver, then I could have brought the ‘stuff’ with me… But if it was stolen, I would have signed away my right to claim the loss, both on a basis of a lawsuit against the hospital, as well as a claim against my insurance policy…
I had forgotten I had to sew another patch on the shoulder of my daughter’s soccer uniform. So, I sat down in front of the computer to do it. Now I’m going to go lie down and read for a bit.
Won If you are already headed home have a safe trip and check in with us when you arrive.
Sigh. I had to cook the pasta. Now as soon as it is done and drained I have to go line up for my daughter. Maybe Thursday I will have less to do…
Good evening everyone!
I had a wonderful weekend away. I was in a haze of unhappiness at work yesterday.
Won, I’m so pleased to hear your good news, what a relief for you and Sally. I hope you’re home, and everything is back to normal soon.
BTW, I think WiFi in hospitals is A Very Good Thing. I wish it was available in the hospital when my son had his op. It would have made the situation far more "normal" if we were able to use the computer. We took the laptop with us anyway, and it was a Godsend for my son, as he was able to watch films on it to pass the time. I think he got through about 15 in the 6 days we were there!
Lady Hawke, thankyou very much for the recipe, especially your thoughtfulness in translating the measurements. I will be printing it out, and will let you know what we think when I cook it.
Waving happy hello’s to everyone. I’m happy to be back here.
Hometime in about 30 minutes. ;)
Just enough time to swing through my other stops and pack up. ;)
Bbl or bbt. ;)
Deanie, I hope you manage to sleep better tonight.
Sirius, I knew it was Meatloaf. I am a bit of a fan.
HW, I’m glad you’re feeling better. I read an article in the paper today, which said even if you’ve had the Swine Flu, you should still have the vaccination. It said it will boost your immunity further, and if you took Tamiflu, ( or equivalent) your immunity could be compromised, as the virus was halted before you were exposed fully.
WON_TWO Am glad test came back neg.
I have a sudden and intense craving for a pepperoni pizza.
off to hunt one down.
bbl.
- Woo Hoo Won* so very glad to the biopsy was neg !!!!! and thanks – for the avatar ID
thanks also LH interesting link, tho I don’t understand how a date in Dec is 17 days earkier than a date in Nov. Did the Pilgrims celebrate their first in Dec also??
Yay fo r a wonderful weekend * Asti*
lol – eariler
Asti so am I – I was very surprised to see him in the movie – I didn’t know he was in it. soon as I heard that voice, I knew. I love both Bat Out of Hell CDs
Won I am glad things went well. I was worried. Take care and don’t over do.
Night Hermy I don’t get giving you the vaccine after you had the flu either – doesn’t your body have the antibodies for it now???
Cool G I liked the first version and am undecided if I want to see the new one, scared it’ll change things too much
