Internet crashed…maybe it’s a sign that I should do my homework…

JRae and Kayzz, A lot of us have been here for 3 or more years. When I started coming to the poll, they were still possting as if in the foruns and citing book, edition and Chapter for almost everything. It was much more "stiff" here.

We pretty much "self-police" and there is very little input from the Leaky staff. Melissa and a few others pop in once in a while, but we roam all over the place and there are no mods here to keep us "on topic".

Thank goodness that they do not give points for posting here or we would be overrun with people who are only interested in racking up points. Instead we get mostly people who actually enjoy our little corner. ;)

I’m with you Sirius. I don’t think any of them did an outstanding performance. They were all good but none gave you that Wow! factor that the judges on both Idol and Dancing talk about so much. Lol

Personally, I thought Kris’s second performance was pretty WOW. That was completely unexpected for me at least and he pulled it off. And Danny’s was the wow because of his second one too. And Adam was the wow becasue he’s always wow And not in a good way…

My sister’s planning her birthday party. Fun for her, nightmare for the rest of the family. Imagine 11 ten year old girls packed into one room hyped up on cake and pop and tyring to sleep (not). Then they wind up getting 2 hours of sleep, waking up at 5 AM and making the same amount of noise as a pack of elephants. Oy…

Deanie, I know what you mean, I’m intimidated by those forum posters, so I stay away. But you guys seem to keep it light. The first time I visited TLC, some time after Deathly Hallows came out, the discussion on the poll here was about decorating rooms in a castle. I thought it was like a private club or some error in the comments. lol Then, the poll did not change much, so I rarely checked the poll comments.

HW I agree with you that the second round of songs on AI were much better than the first round judge’s choice. I think the singers tend to play it safe when the judges pick the song for them, a bit boring.

JRae – that was right about the time we had exhausted the poll topic and were occupying the time waiting for a new poll by talking about anything – the subject of castles came up and the wish we had a castle to live in, so we "brought" one in Ireland and moved in, also establishing a pre-Hogwarts school for children. We do taslk about anything, you know.

HW guess we just gotta agree to disagree. Personally none of this years people would have made it this far last year.

The local news is playing the flight tapes from the plane crash here in February. Apparently the whole reason the plane went down is because they had acouple of idiot pilots flying the thing!! The pilot did the exact opposite of what he was supposed to do in those conditions and you could hear the co-pilot standing there screaming instead of actually doing anything.
