I can’t remember what was going on 10 min before the end of AI. I was just happy I didn’t miss Jordin Sparks’ performance. She and Carrie Underwood are the only ones I actually felt strongly about. I missed a couple seasons in btween them . . . ;) Though I did like Taylor Hicks’ singing too.

there is a huge news story here the past few days – a young lady from Texas is attending the U of Utah here – she is a Freshman. She converted to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints while in school. Her parents, who are Catholic don’t like that & called her and demanded she return home. She refused. It was discovered she was missing from her apartment Monday AM having left ALL of her possessions in the apt. They found her at her parents house in Texas Monday night. The police here are thinking she was kidnapped by the parents. The parents, thru a lawyer are claiming she returned home on her own and is very happy to be there. Our police are not buying that. What student goes home for the summer, before the school term is over, and leaves ALL her possessions at the school? The parents returned to SLC today to be interviewed by the police, the talking head says it wa all a big misunderstanding
