LH I can never sleep well when I need to. I have enough trouble on a regular night, but if there’s an event the next day, especially if I need to get up early for it, that’s a guarantee that I will hardly sleep at all. I’ve often thought of taking something to help me sleep, but then I’d be too sleepy the next day.

Bye, Korey! I think I’m going to head back to bed shortly. It’s quite exciting to realize that I can, after having to push myself through the morning tiredness for the last several days.

Get some good rest, Jen! And you, too, LH, when you are able to stand down again. I imagine you’re in for another long day with an ill child to care for.

LD and I will be getting a late afternoon start on our trip to Vancouver, BC, where our hotel is hosting a Royal Wedding Tea each afternoon we’ll be there. It’s $31 per person, so I don’t know that we’ll go, but it sounds fun. I made our reservations before the engagement was announced, so we don’t qualify for the Wedding Package, which includes champagne and chocolates on check in, and one afternoon tea as part of the package. I’m hoping they might “gift” us with it anyway, but I’m not holding my breath. In any case, it will be a great weekend, and we’re both very looking forward to the play.

I do need sleep first, though. I haven’t been to bed at all yet. I’m waiting for the kiss, which should be about 5:30 AM our time, then will head to bed until about noon, get up and go. I’m taking my laptop, so I’ll check in with you all at some point. :)

On that note, I am off for a nap. I’ll try to catch up later on all I missed this morning and over the last few days. This afternoon I’ll be going to my hometown library’s Book & Bake Sale. Books are just a couple of dollars for the first pound, then only $.25 a pound for each one after that. I’ll be looking to snatch up a bunch of children’s and YA books to send off to the Brooklyn school that is building a library through the HPA’s Accio Books campaign. Tonight I’m seeing Spring Awakening.

I wonder that the ring seemed to not to want to go on. I wonder if her fingers are a bit like my father’s, knuckles a bit too large on a very thin finger, so that it must be snug passing over the knuckle to avoid it spinning madly or holding the fingers apart.

I am trying to hold on for the kiss. I will difinitely be heading to bed. I will need to give the daughter her morning dose of meds but then I will have what should be at least four hours to collapse.

LH on the ring, my first thought was maybe her fingers were a bit puffy from nerves, LOL. My hands get that way. I was very glad when he got it on her finger, though! ;)

Ten more minutes to the kiss. I think we will just barely make it here. It has been a VERY long time since I’ve stayed up this late. I may not have totally turned my schedule around yet (and may never will), but I did at least get back in the habit of going to bed no later than 2 AM, usually earlier, more like midnight or 1 AM. Being up this late has been tough, but worth it!

Waiting, waiting, waiting, need to go to bed, face is hurting. Please let me stay awake until I am ready. Then, please let me sleep.

Well, I read all the comments and I still have not seen a full view of the dress. ;)

Lady Hawke about the need for a WC, perhaps they all wear Depends for such events? I think I would. That would account for the “ball gown” type dresses. Those skirts would hide the extra bulk, but they keep making them more absorbent and less bulky. ;)

Off to justify my existance. I need to pad the times to hide my visits here. ;)

I’m back for a bit. My daughter has awakened and I have had a bit o fa nap. So, I’m going to watch some of it with her and maybe take another nap.

I worry about why Princess Beatrice wears things like that. She seems to go that way with her tastes in terms of apparel.
