My intererst has not decreased in the slightest! I am more hooked on the books than ever…I also am an eternal optimist that JKR will write another series.

Sneaking into the Hufflepuff Common Room under an Invisibility Cloak to check on the House Cup… first on the Poll, first in Jeopardy… it’s coming, Gryffindors, it’s coming! We shall rise victorious once again and the Cup will come back where it belongs… bwahahahahaha

I’ve been checking Leaky every day but I’m not as obsessed as I was on this date last year. I do like to hear about the new theme park and HBP movie rumors, though.

Actually, I want to change my answer, I think my interest in the fandom is even higher (if that is possible) than it was before DH. I mean, we have the Castle now and everything and while I lurked a lot before, I didn’t get heavily involved at Leaky until just a couple of months before DH and movie OoTP came out. Now that we’re all living here, I think that definitely qualifies as MORE involved, LOL.

I wonder if everyone else is still on the old poll. I bet they are, we better send a search party. ANyone have the old link?

I’m here but busy. I comitted to crocheting some things before I go REALLY sick..So I’m doing that and I have online classes I need to catch up on. SO I’ll be hit and miss.

I had an MRI last weds cause my legs are not doing well – saw my surgeon yesterday – she didn’t see anything on the MRI that would be causing my problems so she had some x-rays taken which shows that the L4 – L5 disk (it’s the one that herniated and was operated on almost 3 years ago)flattens out totally when I flex my spine forward or back and that the space that the nerves goes thru when they split off of the spinal cord to go down my legs is smaller than normal, so she thinks I am pinching those nerves – so I need to get an epidermal on the 28th, please pray, send spells – whatever you believe in, my way that this works and takes away the pain and weakness I’ve been having for 2 months now.

gotta get back to work before the Trolls come back, take care ya’ll – I miss ya but hopefully soon I’ll be on so much you beg me to go to Mugglenet and bug them for awhile

Mine’s increased…Well, in a weird way, I suppose. I only started reading ‘Harry Potter’ in April of 2007, and I wasn’t checking any fan sites because I didn’t want to be spoiled… So, really, I first went on ‘Leaky’ only a couple of months ago (Yes, I’m a slow reader) So, in fact, it’s increased hugely! After I read ‘Order of the Phoenix’ I became obsessed with ‘Harry Potter’ (In a good way, mind you) I love everything about it, I can’t explain it…. I just love it. And I never knew there were so many “Potterheads” out there like me! It’s brilliant!

Hello there Sirius B, It is so good to see your post, Sirius, I will pray very hard, and send my most powerful healing spell, that this will work for you, and you will find yourself at last pain-free!!!!!! All right AVA! Discovering HP for the first time is exciting! The more you know and reread of the books, the more exciting they are, too!

My level of involvement hasn’t changed, but it’s gone from speculation and hoping it would end the way I wanted, to rediscovering how everything intertwined and worked together.

...and to hoping WB doesn’t screw up canon! (Ok, and to appreciating the parts of the movies that brought the books to the screen well.)

Believe it or not, but I wasn’t involved with any of this fandom stuff until after DH had been released. The first time i properly started reading Leaky and downloading Pottercast and joining the forums was after I finished the book and I suddenly realised, this is the end. No more books. I want Harry Potter to continue!!! Now I’m so glad I found the fandom

To post on poll, I chose that it has increased. I wasn’t coming here regularly before DH. Now I just have to wait for Lemon’s daily reports to get all the news. So I very rarely surf other sites like I did before DH came out. Lol

I have spent much more time prowling the fansites in search of nuggets that appear from time to time about Harry Potter projects such as the coming movies and theme park. And about choice little details that those involved in the projects reveal in unguarded moments.

I have to say – I miss trying to sherlock out what’s going to happen, is snape good or bad… but I still LOVE the books.

I’m not going to look at the ‘do not disturb’ sign on a daily basis either… but they are still some of the first books I pick up when I need something ‘comfortable’ to read.

I voted for stayed the same because my focus is now more on my HP obsessed Leaky friends, lol. We are kept up to date with the latest work undertaken by current or past HP actors, there are birthdays to celebrate of people or characters, competitions to enter, fan art to scour, rumours to check out. We need to hear about the new memorabilia etc, etc. and awards and fund-raising events. Lets face it, being an HP Leaky fan is a full-time job.

We are finding WB rather irritatingly tight-lipped about the trailer, and very mean with photographs.

Mama Mia This film was a high octane blast! You always get your money’s worth from Meryl Streep and Julie Walters, and Colin Firth is a sweetie. Pierce Brosnan is a revelation!! Don’t wait for the DVD, go and see it at the cinema for the full-on effect. Do you get the drift! I loved it!
