Awesome! I get to save $10 until next year.

Awesome! I get to save $10 because now I'm skipping this movie!

I've made a Facebook group, started a protest, called my local councilman, staged a sit-in, started a boycott, and organized a million-fan march because we won't stand for the - wait, what was this about again?

hi Lady Hawke thanks for passing on Lemon’s message – I was able to read it as I got caught up yesterday by skipping about 300 pages

When I refresh it stays at the bottom of the page, but when I post it goes to the top of the page it posts on

I am amazed by how many of us have Plantar Faciitus, are we the Brotherhood and Sisterhood of Feet Pain?

Mistic Willow – in my humble opinion Steel Magnolias is one of the worst and most boring moview ever made, but that may be because I’m of the male persuasion.

I think the bad feet thing has to do with age and the type of shoes we wore when we were much younger.

Platforms

Heels

“Earth” shoes

“Go-Go” Boots

Cheap tennis shoes

Cheap rubber flip-flops

Sandals with tire treads for soles or made from water buffalo hide

Do any of those look familiar? At some point wore each of them except the last one.

The only style that had even a little support was the “earth” shoes and they stretched the achilles tendon to the point of pain. ;)

Nostalgia! ;)

Deanie mine was the cheap tennis shoes, but for school & church I had what were supposed to be top flight shoes, they were expensive enough that they should have been anyway. I did the soft pillow thing this morning – foot hurts, but I think that is because it actually stretched the tendon & ligaments out a bit, felt good doing it.
going to try everyone else’s tips tonight and tomarrow

Cool Grandma

Sirius I can not believe you said that about Steel Magnolias. Here I was thinking you were sensative. Lol

Actually this movie is a true story based on book written by the brother of the daughter who died. (Julia Roberts Character) Like all movies, they change things but it is still basically true. No matter how many times I watch it, I still cry and laugh at the same time. Such a tear jerker.

Sirius and Deanie, here’s another plantar faciitis tip: take a 20 ounce soda bottle (they’re usually sturdier than the ones used for bottled water), fill it with water and put it in the freezer. Roll it under each foot in turns. It ices the foot and stretch/massages the arch—better than a can of veggies in my opinion.

Sirius: “are we the Brotherhood and Sisterhood of Feet Pain?”

Or maybe “The Hall of Lame”? hehe, sorry, couldn’t resist.

Sirius, Those cowboys are tied 4-2 with the Redskins. We have more division wins though. I am still sore at the Skins’ last minute lost to the Rams. I had a rough time after that game.

The Cowboys have Jessica S to cheer them on so I guess they are doing fine.

Cool G sorry to blow your image of me and while I am sensitive, and did know it was a true story – as I read a good hunk of the book, the movie just did not make it for me – WAY to much chit chat and not enough story

Miss Hagrid thanks for the tip, lol (Hall of Lame)

LemonFaerie – I’m heeeerreee where are you? he he he

we’ll see if that formating works

Thanks, Lunaluu!

How is everyone? My Geog presentation went great, apparently I must have spent a lot of ‘time’ and ‘effort’ on it. Yeah yeah.. Damn statistics.

Hiya Sirius! Thanks, I think I worked hard on it. I’m good thanks, sorry to hear about the feet. Bad feet is a tradition in my family.. It missed our generation though. XD

Sirius Yeah.. I say sneak into Madam Pomfrey’s office and steal that little box of remedies she has. Under lock and key, she said. Oh yeah..

Wish upon a wishing star..

I see that there’s a new poll (about the Beedle the Bard book)—but it didn’t seem to be working quite yet when last checked it.

i haven’t been to one yet. I was going to go to DH release party but my ride ended up not having enough room in their car, i was so upset….so hopefully they will have one for this.

MissHagrid

I would love for there to be a midnight party. I didn’t get to go to one for DH because I don’t have a way of getting out of town and Walmart didn’t do a midnight release.
