Moving the HBP film to July 2009 is:
|Annoying, but I'll get over it||
|Not something I care about.||
|Cool; who wants to go to the movies in the winter anyway?||
|Awesome! I get to save $10 until next year.||
|Awesome! I get to save $10 because now I'm skipping this movie!||
|I've made a Facebook group, started a protest, called my local councilman, staged a sit-in, started a boycott, and organized a million-fan march because we won't stand for the - wait, what was this about again?||

Oh! That’s what Safari is! i was wondering.
So now I have my choice of MS IE, Firefox or Safari at home. I’ll have to check it out. ;)
Thanks Won_Two. ;)
Our new computers came with Vista on disks and preloaded with XP Pro., so we can “upgrade” when we are ready or whenever they stop supporting XP.
I use XP Pro at work and I did not want to have a different OS at home. Before te budget crunch became obious, our IT guy told me that we will be changing over to Vista. I suppose that is on hold for another few months, now.
Whenever they do the change here, I can do it at home too. I will have to buy the program for the laptop, but buying it for one machine beats buying it for 3.
I think you should be able to get an upgrade from XP to Vista, but I don’t know about a downgrade.
Several years ago I upgraded from ME to XP, but my machine was always very slow in booting up. Once it was up, the speed was ok, but I would have to turn it on and go do something else for about 40 minutes before I could actually use it.
Not fun! ;)
Am doing a quick post as I head out the door. I must be the ONLY person on the internet who has had NO
problem whatever with Vista! I have the Home Premium 6.0 an I love it!
Also I have found that Mozilla Firefox to be a better browser than I.E.
Or maybe I am just weird ;)
See everyone Sun. night or Mon.
PB I re-read my post and noticed it came off a bit rude. I’m sorry if you took it offensively or anything. I didn’t mean for it to come across that way.
Also, MM I voted for Grease And The Princess Bride. I didn’t see my self on your list.
I am using Firefox. I am having no trouble at all.
ironsos, I have had no trouble with Vista, thus far. My dad and brother have it, and they seem to be ok with it. I don’t like Vista much, so I’ll stick to XP with Office 2007. So much better. Lawlz. Have fun wherever you’re going!
Have a good nap, *Deanie!
Graymayne,* I can’t believe Book 2 ended like that! I am so glad I have Book 3 ready and waiting!
Hi asti! Sorry I missed you…seems like we never catch each other in real time anymore!
ironsos, I know you probably won’t see this until you get back, but I hope you have a great time on your trip!
I don’t have Vista, but the virus that killed my last laptop first revealed itself with a popup message claiming to be from a Vista antivirus program, stating that it had detected numerous threats and asking if it should remove them. I knew the computer had XP, not Vista, so I was afraid to click okay, but since it was the weekend and I needed to get some things done, I just kept X-ing out of the popup. When I brought it to my IT person on Mon, she said that the virus had been designed so that whether I had clicked on the OK button or just closed the window, it would release the virus (so I was doomed either way). Also, the virus was lodged in an icon that claimed to be that Vista antivirus program, and when she removed the supposed antivirus program, the virus actually hid the recycling bin deep within protected folders and then ate up all of the hard drive space so there wasn’t even enough memory for IT to do anything to remove the virus. They ended up having to wipe out the entire hard drive and give me a new computer (so all in all not a bad deal for me, I suppose). Not sure how this relates to the recent conversation, but after that incident, any mention of Vista makes me nervous! Good luck with getting yours to work better, korey – I hope you get it straightened out!
I’ve got to go figure out what I’m going to have for supper, but I’ll probably be back later tonight.
So remember me only works while I stay on Leaky I guess….
Oh well, only having to type things in once or twice a day isn’t that bad.

lol PB did the Niners win Sunday?, my Cowboys SHOULD have but the O-Line suddenly got replaced by some high school team’s 3rd string. So should the Bears huh MM?
Ella The new stuff from Noble is on the front page…or it should be…I really don’t like any of it. Won’t be adding them to my collection…
I’m back…I’ll be popping in and out in between reading and watching the Red Sox game.
I noticed that about the Remember Me, PB, but at least it’s still better than it was!
Ella, I didn’t check Noble for the new items, I just clicked on the links in the Leaky news article – which went to the pictures in Leaky’s gallery. :)
SiriusB, I hope your feet get better soon. I know how much Plantar Faciitis really hurts—I’m dealing with that now.
