Author J.K. Rowling appeared today on the Richard & Judy talk show today where she discussed Book Seven, which she reiterates is still NOT finished. Jo said that the last chapter has changed slightly, and two characters die, who she did not originally plan for their demise.Continued...

At the birthday party today for the Queen, author J.K. Rowling was asked about her thoughts and progress on Book Seven. She did not give any details nor clues about the book, but only said to Reuters:

"I am feeling sad as it is the last one. But so far, so good."

Earlier today, author J.K. Rowling attended the special party for the Queen today at Buckingham Palace. Reuters is now reporting that Jo was met by many of her fans at the party.

Calder of Bloomsbury: Book Seven "Likely" in 2007

Wire reports are now online of an interview with Liz Calder, Director of publishing at Bloomsbury, where she comments on JKR and the possibily of Book Seven coming next year. She does NOT say that a 2007 release is certain, but that she "hopes," and thinks it is "likely." J.K.Continued...

Today the Guardian newspaper featured a piece on UK Harry Potter book publishers Bloomsbury, and there was a mention of Book Seven "probably" being released next year. The article highlighted again the future plans of the company after the last book comes out. Quotage:
