Games Based on Movies Usually Fall Short of Success, Times Reports

Today’s New York Times reports that video games based on Hollywood and book licenses are almost never big hits, but notes that those expectations are being challenged by “Shrek 2 and Spider-Man 2 (both from Activision), along with Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban and The Lord of the Rings: The Third Age from Electronic Arts.”
