I’m glad to see the movie will also have the “romantic comedy” theme going on. From what I got out of the teaser, it was all going to be srs bsns.
I’d much prefer “sex, potions and rock and roll” to srs bsns any day, at least for this film. Save the srs bsns for Deathly Hallows. God knows its full of it.

I had no idea you guys knew all of these things for so long! I wish I had, maybe then I wouldn’t have been squirming for information for the past several months… just one interview would have been nice, lol.
The more I read, the more eager I get to see this movie and the more I want to see the rest of the reports! I am thinking that this is going to be a tremendously exciting movie for all Potter fans!
Melissa, your set reports are always wonderful! For years I’ve enjoyed reading each and every awesome detail you’re able to share with us. Thanks for being our link into the wonderful world of Harry Potter. The set sounds beyond fantasic and I can hardly wait to see the next movie. It makes me so sad to even begin to think about the days when there won’t be anymore HP set reports. Right now, we should cherish every moment we have left with Harry!

I can almost imagine being there myself! Keep up the good work and thanks for posting this. It will be bittersweet seeing HBP – I can’t wait to see it, yet I know we only have one book left in the series to be filmed (even if, YEHEY, it will be made into two films!)
Two feelings as I read this post: Melissa is one dang, lucky woman AND this film is going to be terrific. And the fact that you got to see so many key scenes happening is fantastic. Keep ‘em coming, girl!

OH! I forgot to say.The trailer was awesome! And your confiration ,from what you saw and heard,that these beloved books are indeed in good hands is great! A terrific way to set the stage for the last three films.Bravo!
Finally, great (part one of your) set report! And I’d agree with twiwizardjedi. ;) Even if the trailer doesn’t make the movie seem like a romantic comedy at all. I bet the final trailer will be full of Harry/Ginny and Ron/Lavender to make it look like two different movies.
