Nice post! I love the character of Hermione as a model of female intelligence and real strength too. She is both strong and vulnerable, smart and funny, passionate and rational…Jo based her on herself and really created a great character! Emma has worked hard to make the character come to life too…don’t like the way she spent HBP hitting everyone tho, especially in the name of humor…I do not like that habit in girls in general. We would not allow the guys to get away with that behavior!

Go Hermione! She’s so powerful and strong; she’s a good friend and very clever; she’s really smart, but she never brags about it. I love reading about her. When in DH I came to the part where she punched Ron, I started laughing out loud.
