Scarier POA trailer to be released

According to the BBC, a brand new trailer for "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" is to be released sometime soon. We now have some more details about the online chat with author JK Rowling on March 4th. The World Book Day Online Festivalwill be launched by JK Rowling with an interactive web-chat between 10 and 11am (in the UK).This will include 12 special questions from winners of a national schools' competition.

On Latinoreview.com there is an interview with director Guillermo del Toro who talks about the upcoming POA film. A friend and colleague of POA director Alfonso Cuaron, del Toro says that he has seen the new film and "I think its one of the best children's movies I have ever seen in my life."Continued...

Carole Bouquet says No to Madame Maxime

Winky of potterworldonline, writes us to say the actress Carole Bouquet was interviewed last night on Canal +TV. When asked if she was to be Madame Maxime in the upcoming Goblet of Fire movie,Carole Bouquet said no, and added that the studios were against this decision(to be in the film).

Scotland too rainy for Goblet of Fire?

Today, the Sunday Mail is reporting that due to the large amounts of bad weather, Goblet of Fire may film in a drier location other than Glencoe, Scotland. Reportedly, Exmoor in Devon has been looked at as a possible alternate location for filming, while the glen would be used just for scenic shots.

Amazon.com now has the new "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" calendars up for pre-order. The cover of the mini-wall calendar is very interesting.Besides the wall calendar, there is the day to day calendar, and the desk calendar

King overtakes Harry in box office battle

The BBC reports that "Return of the King" has overtaken "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" to become the second most successful film ever. According to box office totals, Titanic still holds the lead with $1.8 billion dollars.
