J.K. Rowling up for book award

J.K. Rowling and her novel "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" is up for an award from bookseller WH Smith. A spokesperson for the awards said the themes of isolation and death as Harry matures made this book a contender. Also on the short list:

Movie news site Dark Horizons is reporting that Ray Winstone has been cast as Mad-Eye Moody for Goblet of Fire. It's about GoF casting time, so this wouldn't be out of place, but still consider this a very much a rumor for now. See pictures of him here. Thanks very much to Beckie for the tipoff!

John Hurt to play Alan Clark

A Squid another source for Invisibility cloaks?

In this article from CNN, scientists have compared a camouflage device of the Hawaiian Bobtail Squid to that of Harry Potters Invisibility Cloak....Editors Note..No word on whether or not this squid is related to the Giant Squid..:-)
