Yesterday's Wall Street Journal contained an article on the audio book version of OotP. You must subscribe to the WSJ to view the article there, but here are some of the relevant quotes.

French Translation of Book 5

Yahoo France reports that the French translation of book five will be available on December 3, 2003. The translation will be done by Jean-François Ménard, who translated the first four books.
