Newsround reports that Baby David was born late on on Sunday, March 23. No word yet on whether the magical quill at Hogwarts put his name down for the class starting in 2014.

J K Rowling has given birth to a boy.
The baby - named David Gordon Rowling Murray - was born at the new Royal Infirmary in Edinburgh.


Rowling's publicist Nicky Stonehill said: "Both mother and baby are doing well."
