Known for her striking looks and roles in period piece films, actress Helena Bonham Carter made her first appearance as the fanatical Death Eater Bellatrix Lestrange in OotP. Helena will return again in the role for the upcoming Half-Blood Prince due out in 2008. An Academy Award nominee for her role in The Wings of the Dove, actress Helena Bonham Carter is best known for her work in acclaimed films such as A Room with a View which co-starred Dame Maggie Smith (Prof. McGonagall), Frankenstein, with Kenneth Branagh (Gilderoy Lockhart) and Howards End, where she co-starred with Emma Thompson (Prof. Trelawney) and Sir Anthony Hopkins. She also recently voiced parts Corpse Bride and in Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit, where she worked with Ralph Fiennes, who portrays Lord Voldemort. Ms. Carter resides in England with her partner film director Tim Burton, where they just celebrated the birth of their second child.
