Harry Melling hails from a family of actors. His late grandfather was a famous British Shakespearean actor who was most recognized for a turn in the title role of Doctor Who. Harry Melling was cast as Harry's dreadful cousin Dudley Dursley after the casting agents came to his school. Harry was first seen in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone in 2001, and has appeared in all the subsequent Harry Potter films to date. It is believed the will be returning as Big D for Half-Blood Prince due out in November, 2008. When not acting, Harry enjoys playing the drums, and taking in theater and films. Harry Melling lives with his brother and parents in England.
