Irish-born actress Fiona Shaw is today regarded as one of the finest stage performers of the age, having appeared in some of the most critically acclaimed productions of the 20th century. A former student of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, Shaw has received much notice for her roles in such plays as "The Rivals," Dangerous Liaisons and Hedda Gabler. While she primarily performs on stage with the London Theatre, Ms. Shaw has taken on several other on-screen roles, including parts in "The Butcher Boy", "My Left Foot" and the 1997 adaptation of "Anna Karenina." Shaw was awarded an honorary CBE in 2001. Fiona Shaw has portrayed Aunt Petunia in all of the Harry Potter films to date.
