Born: August 16, 1991 in Termonfeckin, Ireland

Evanna Lynch is a 15-year-old Irish drama student who always dreamed of playing Luna Lovegood (her favorite character!) on the big screen. She has read each of the books at least "six or seven times", received a personal letter and signed copy of the fifth Potter book from JK Rowling, and even owns two cats named Crookshanks and Luna. Evanna begged her parents to allow her to fly into London for the auditions; she then beat out 15,000 other girls for the coveted role of the Ravenclaw student. Evanna joined the cast for Order of the Phoenix and met up with JK Rowling on set ,who later proclaimed the young girl as "perfect). After gaining wide- spread critical and fan praise for her performance, Evanna will return again as Luna Lovegood for Half-Blood Prince. Evanna resides in Termonfeckin, a small Irish town outside of Drogheda, with her parents and three siblings.
