David Bradley has long been considered by many as one of the distinguished actors of the British stage for his work as a long time member of the Royal Shakespeare Company and the Royal National Theatre. His performances of some of the great theatrical plays have earned him many awards, most notably in 1990 receiving the Lawrence Olivier Award acting award for "Best Supporting Actor" acknowledging his role as the Fool in King Lear. He has also appeared in Hamlet and Henry IV, Pt I & II where he recently starred with fellow Harry Potter actor Sir Michael Gambon (Albus Dumbledore) to great critical acclaim. David also starred with Kenneth Branagh (Gilderoy Lockhart) in the 2004 production of Titus Andronicus. In motion pictures David has appeared with fellow Potter actor Alan Rickman in Blow Dry, Timothy Spall (Nickolas Nickleby), and Shirley Henderson, Christian Coulson, Sean Biggerstaff, and Predrag Bjelac in Charles the II: The Power and the Passion. David is expected to return for the sixth time portraying the Hogwarts groundskeeper Argus Filch in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. David Bradley resides in England.
