Happy Birthday Ginny!

The youngest and prettiest of all the Weasley children, Ginny Weasley turns 35 today (August 11, 2016)!

Though she had her ups and downs, Ginny is one of the bravest of the Weasley bunch. Surviving and striving after a dangerous run-in with the Dark Lord himself. She later became an important member of Dumbledore’s Army, sticking it to Harry when he attempted to keep her from accompanying them to the Department of Mysteries. “I’m three years older than you were when you fought You-Know-Who over the Philosopher’s Stone,” she said fiercely, “and it’s because of me Malfoy’s stuck back in Umbridge’s office with giant flying bogeys attacking him.”

“The thing about growing up with Fred and George is that you sort of start thinking anything’s possible if you’ve got enough nerve.”

Ginny was always very kind and understanding. Even when Harry broke up with her she understood perfectly, even if she was mad and thought it was for “stupid noble reasons”. In this article on Pottermore about why we love Ginny, they say:
