Scholastic's new cover design for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince has been revealed. The cover was unveiled at Comic-Con 2013 in San Diego. These new covers will be on paperback editions of new Harry Potter books, while Mary GrandPre's original artwork will remain the dust jacket art of hardcover Harry Potter books. The picture can be seen below. Many thanks to Hypable for the tip!

I like this cover the best out of the new designs so far.

Very similar to the original, but with the feel of SS when Harry was younger with the cape.

Very nice! But why aren’t they showing the back of the books, too?

I don’t like it. It looks like the guy just made a cartoon version of the movie poster, pointing the characters in the opposite direction. Very lazy and unoriginal, in my opinion.

Guess That Book

"Well -- it's not funny really -- but as it's Filch," he said. "A Squib is someone who was born into a wizarding family but hasn't got any magic powers. Kind of the opposite of Muggle-born wizards, but Squibs are quite unusual."
