A new clip of Emma Watson's post-Potter film, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, has been released. In this scene a "wallflower" is defined, and Ms. Watson's character welcomes a "wallflower", Charlie (Logan Lerman), to "the land of misfit toys". This clip can be viewed below. The Perks of Being a Wallflower hits theaters September 21.
Her accent is really good. It shocked me how American she sounded. I couldn’t even hear a hint of a British accent. Now I really want to watch this movie. Logan seems so timid (which is something he’s aiming for it seems). I felt like giving him a hug.
Not to be an annoying stickler (hopefully), but Emma Watson’s character (Sam) welcomes Charlie to the Island of Misfit Toys (like in the classic Rankin/Bass Christmas special of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer). Also, having read the book, I was delighted to see Charlie holding the milkshake in this scene; nice to see the little details.
