Harry Potter book publisher Bloomsbury made mention in a recent Reuters report regarding its yearly profits, that "[I]t was counting on a new Rowling three-book box set tied into the Potter series, and a non-fiction account of spies in World War II to support sales in the coming year."
This is quite interesting news, for we have yet to hear whether this "three-book set" will come in the form of a new release or, even, new Harry Potter material. (We can dream!)

I wouldn’t get your hopes up too much. The box set is probably Quidditch Through the Ages, Fantastic Beasts and Beedle the Bard – I can’t see where else they will get three such books from.

They may just be spell books, or other text books used in the series! Sounds like she is doing a “Goeorge lucas” and rehashing old material for a few bucks. not that I have anything against capitalism. Its just been sooo long since the potterverse has had something new! lets have a book about the original order, or about the Maruaders, or about Dumbldore and Nicolas Flammel even!

gav0071: It will be her publisher rehashing existing books. I think there would be much more publicity if there were new books and fresh material.

UPDATE!!!
This morning we first told you that Bloomsbury was counting on “a new Rowling three-book box set tied into the Potter series” to help profits.
Now, a small description has appeared.
A report on Sharecast calls the boxset a “Hogwarts Library Box Set.”
In our first post, fans speculated that this 3-book set would be Beedle the Bard, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, and Quidditch Through the Ages wrapped in one. While plausible, we were hesitant to believe this because Reuters’ report stated that Bloomsbury was “counting on” the boxset to boost sales. A re-release of content doesn’t seem like something that would boost sales.
Nonetheless, this “Hogwarts Library Box Set” description certainly lends to fans’ theories. What do you think it will be?
Thanks to Thomas for the Sharecast article.
