"Deathly Hallows: Part 2" Wins Costume Designers Guild Award for Fantasy Film

The 14th annual Costume Designers Guild Awards were held on Tuesday night in Los Angeles, and "Harry Potter" costume designer, Jany Temime, walked away with an award for Excellence in Fantasy Film for her work in "Deathly Hallows: Part 2."
According to the Hollywood Reporter, other winners during the night included "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" and "W.E." This is the first CDG Award for Ms. Temime. Congratulations!

First to post again, wow I’m on a role! That’s great news,the costumes were pretty awesome! Also, Helena Bonham Carter was praised for her performance in the kings speech by no other than the Queen herself! I say congrats to her too. :D

Thanks for that information, Grindylow_101. helena Made a great Queen Elizabeth(wife of George vi). I loved the scene in The Kings Speechwhere Elizabeth cut right past Wallace Simpson to talk to Edward. That film was superb on so many levels. I loved the costuming in DH part 2. They really fitted the idea of young people living rough on the run from Voldie and the snatchers.

Dongrats! =D I have always loved the costumes in HP, they truly capture the magic of everything. Belleatrix has a wonderful costume, as does everyone else, costumes can really make everything.
