The Art Directors Guild has nominated Harry Potter production designer Stuart Craig for the Excellence in Production Design Award for his work on "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2." The movie has been nominated in the fantasy film category and will possibly be up against "Captain America," "The Adventures of TinTin," "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides," and "Cowboys and Aliens."

You are right, LunaLuver. According to the ‘Page to Screen’ book, after filming Snape’s death scene Alan Rickman went to Stuart Craig and thanked him for that set, saying, ‘It helped.’ Which apparently is quite an unusual thing for actors to do.

Nobody deserves all of these accolades more than Stuart Craig and his team of designers and craftsmen.
From this fan: Thank you for making our fantasy real.

I really hope that Stuart Craig wins, his work on all the Harry Potter films has been outstanding, if the art direction hadn’t been right, no matter how good the acting and the script, the films would not have really felt like they were taking place in Harry’s world.
