I’m mad that Desplat didn’t even get a nomination for best original score for this movie. I was so sure he would, it’s absolutely amazing and it’s one of my favorites of the series. I’m very disappointed, and if the movie doesn’t win at least 1 of it’s nominations, I don’t believe I’ll be watching the Oscars anymore because they already messed up last year when it, again came to Best Original score and let “The social network” win

@ rettophantom_ I agree with your statement. Aside from the special effects, the movie fell short and that has a lot to do with the directing and writing. If BAFTA & the OSCARS recognize that the HP franchise deserves and award for their contribution to cinema that is wonderful but it was not just the OSCARS that snubbed HP. The Golden Globes and BAFTA did a pretty good job of letting WB know what they thought about the movie.
Alan Rickman – shame. Such a wonderful actor. Look, if he was not nominated for Sense and Sensibility (which he was fabulous in) Snape was not happening. Personally, it would have been nice. One character nominated would have been great.
