Pottermore Welcome Emails to be Sent Out Daily

The Pottermore Insider blog has been updated to say that Welcome Emails to beta registrants will now be sent out on a daily basis:
The good news is that we no longer expect to pause sending these (as mentioned in our Beta testing and Welcome emails post). Instead, we plan to send emails out daily over the next two
weeks. As always, there’s a chance that our plans may alter as we assess
the site and how it is reacting to new users but we will update you if
anything changes.
For those who will be joining Pottermore over the next two weeks, don’t forget to read our From duelling to potions post and check our Help page for answers to any other questions you have about the site.

@MagicalMe^_^ on the PM insider under Beta testing and Welcome emails it says “As you’ll remember from our previous Insider post, we need to start the Beta with a very small number of people in order to properly test Pottermore and collect feedback.
We know that waiting can be frustrating but the good news is that, as the Beta progresses, we’ll be increasing the number of emails we send out at any one time.”
So I don’t think they meant to evenly send out e-mails. I think PM meant to send a small amt of e-mails out and tests those then as the site progressed and more of the kinks were found they let more people in so the site wouldn’t crash too often. I think we are at the point that PM can let more people in. It took a while for day 1’s to get in and now 2 and 3 are getting in at closer intervals. Hopefully it won’t be long before we’re all in.

I see they fixed the error. I can proceed to the next chapter. I was tired of being stuck on the snitch page.
I just had a look at the chapter 1 comments and it looks like the most recent batch is a mixture of day 3 and day 4 people, though I am not sure how that matches with the number sorted if they are enabling accounts by order of registration or verification.

Today’s wave appears to have gone out – suddenly there’s a rash of excited tweets. Thanks for the numbers update, tim_2006, I’m glad to see the count continue to rise.
It’s even harder to be patient now that they’re increasing emails!

Glad to hear that Day 4s are starting to be allowed in, I’m a Day 5 and still nothing. Hopefully I don’t have to wait until tomorrow because that means I wouldn’t get to play at all until after work. I’m so excited about this that I’m actually dreaming about PM, it’s becoming a serious problem.

I am a day 4 and got my email this morning but when went to sign in it said Pottermore is unavailable. That is just the luck I have. :) I will just wait a few hours a try again. I have my cool PM name- Wizardseeker37-ready to go!
