I can’t believe the first 2 days’ questions were really hard, even for me and I’ve read the book at least 5 times each…and now such easy q’s that a non-fan can answer them….I don’t think it’s fair

GREAT! I got the quill, received the e-mail and completed the registration. Can’t wait for the follow up message that I can go into the site.
What time did the question get posted today? (Day 5)
Finally got in!!! My username’s AccioThestral111! See everyone there when it’s open!

@pattiann27, not sure what time it started, but it was still open at 1:58 (NYC time). I went back just after 2:00 and it was closed. On the positive side, the frenzy seems to be dying down. I never expected to get in before October.
CatrinJane: It is however what they said they would do beforehand, make clues 1-3 hard (presumably to give an advantage to hard core fans) and then clues 4-7 easy (perhaps aimed at younger fans who haven’t read the books as much but are still very keen on Harry Potter).
pattiann27: It was 6pm UK time or 17:00 GMT/UTC, open for about an hour.
I’m in…At first I didn’t wait for the message to appear after the “Congratulations” note and went back to the pottermore website to look for the register link. When I coudn’t find it I got really freaked out. I was so afraid I wasn’t gonna make it. Then I returned to the page and saw J.K.R’s message. Thank God…I cannot wait…so happy

@Eeyore, you can also go to PottermoreHype.com, and they list the clues for each day. The only trouble is that it gives you the answer right underneath. :(

I do not know if this is true or not… But I was told that possibly, there will be an advantage (not my choice of words) for those who registered first… What that ‘advantage’ might be was not forthcoming… We shall see… In any event it is absolutely great that so many Leaky Cauldron members are on the Pottermore Beta Team! :+D

NOTE REGARDING TIMES OF CLUES 6 AND 7 IF YOU LIVE IN U.S.:
If I am reading the Pottermore Insider blog correctly, the last two clues will BOTH take place on FRIDAY, AUGUST 5 in the United States. In the Eastern time zone, for instance, Clue 6 will happen between 8:30 AM and 11 AM on the morning of August 5, while Clue 7 will happen LATER THAT SAME DAY between 7:30 PM and 10 PM. So if you miss Clue 6, don’t wait until Saturday for Clue 7!
@ Won_Two – that would be cool; I got in on day 3. Do you remember where you heard that possibility? Maybe the advantage is just that we’ll get our welcome e-mails in the order in which we got in…
