The Hollywood Reporter has released a list of 25 interesting facts about the props and sets used to make the Harry Potter films. Some facts include:

1.Daniel Radcliffe wore out  60-70 wands during the making of the Harry Potter films.
2. Every wand that you see in any of the Harry Potter films is created on-site. No two wands are alike…not even the Weasley twins’!
3. Wands are 13-15 inch long and haven’t changed in length, so the actors have had to grow into them over the years.
4. Dumbledore’s wand was a very elaborate design, even though its significance of being the Elder Wand was far from being known when made.

You can read the rest of the facts here.

This is a great article, I love all of the details that have went into all of the props and sets. I imagine the crew put a lot of love, sweat & tears into creating all of this magical world for the movies. I am grateful that they took the time to make everything so special!!

This facts are awesome. I would like to see the paintings in which the producers where immortalized! I wonder if all the actors got to choose something to keep as a souvenir… I know Dan kept the first and last glasses he wore as Harry, but what about the others? Emma should’ve be allowed to keep the timeturner or something like that as well as Rup, the Puter Outer…

Guess That Book

Harry enjoyed the breakneck journey down to the Weasleys' vault, but felt dreadful, far worse than he had in Knockturn Alley, when it was opened. There was a very small pile of silver Sickles inside, and just one gold Galleon.
