As it is now July 31st in the UK, it is the day where we send our birthday wishes to author J. K. Rowling and her literary creation, Harry Potter. In honor of the birthdays of two gallant Gryffindors, the Singing Crones have recorded three brand-new filks: one about Neville and two about Harry. You can listen to them at www.the-leaky-cauldron.org/myleaky/p/the_singing_crones-2.

We haven’t come up with a song about JKR herself yet, but I suppose that we’ll have to put that on the filking agenda. In the meantime I guess I could change my composition ‘Rolling Home to Dear Old Hogwarts’ to ‘Rowling Home…’

I wish a ‘Happy Harry and Jo’s Birthday’ to both of them, as well as to all of us whose lives have been changed for the better because they both came into being!
