Reminder: Dan Radcliffe to Sing at Tony Awards Tonight 8/7c on CBS
June 12, 2011, 01:40 PM
Just a quick reminder that Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) is to perform "Brotherhood of Man" from "How to Succeed in Business Without Really
Trying", the Broadway musical in which he stars in a leading role, at the Tony Awards tonight. As we let you know earlier this week, Radcliffe has commented, "I think we're one of the first, if not the first [to perform on the evening]". The awards ceremony
begins at 8/7c on CBS in the US and Radcliffe's co-stars John Larroquette and Tammy Blanchard are up for awards. Stay close to Leaky for more news from the awards ceremony.
Looked the same as always, but still good. Really hoping John Larroquette wins later. (Book of Mormon is really cleaning up, but no surprise there, it was great)
The performance was great, and also Dan presented the Tonys for Best actress in a musical an Best actress in a play nontheless!
And as part of the last rap, host Neil Patrick Harris made a joke about Voldemort. I never thought I would hear a HP reference at the Tonys, the things DanRad manages!
Last Sunday people were fighting over those silly movie awards, but really, no other franchise has representation in, what for a lot of people are, the most prestigious awards in the world, so… I think once again Potterheads win!
