Entertainment Weekly's annual Summer Movie Preview is hitting newsstands tomorrow, and featured on the cover is Harry Potter himself.

"Deathly Hallows: Part 2" is one of the many summer films highlighted in this issue with an on-set report including quotes from Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) and Emma Watson (Hermione Granger). There are also some minor spoilers about changes that have been made for the final battle.

Here's a short preview from EW's website (SPOILER ALERT!):

In this week’s cover story, we visit the stars and filmmakers on the set and learn secrets of the final, climactic installment, which hits theaters July 15. Such as? Well, for one thing, the final showdown between Harry and evil Lord Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes) in a wand duel at Hogwarts will be a little different from what author J.K. Rowling described in her 2007 novel. This time, the chase leads through Hogwarts and culminates in a very physical brawl as the two foes “apparate” (i.e., teleport) toward and away from each other.
Entertainment Weekly goes on sale tomorrow, Friday, April 15th. We will post the scans from the feature once they are made available!

DH1 was good. I think DH2 may be going the horrible way that HBP did. Ugh. Apparating in Hogwarts. Fresca ROAR is right. Apparating is running away. Both Harry and Voldemort had confidence in this battle. Voldemort’s was arrogance and Harry’s was faith.

What?!?!?!
1. You can’t apparate in Hogwarts
2. Why the h*** would you change it?!?!?! JKR is a genius! Do. Not. Change. Her. Material.
Ugh
It is what it is, at least its not TOO drastic.

1) The protective enchantments are GONE. There’s nothing to stop anyone from Apparating into/through/around/out of Hogwarts at this time.

2) Rowling approved the changes. Nothing left to say, really. If DH2 fails, it’s just as much on her as it is on Yates & Co.

I’m soooooo excited for the movie, I can’t wait until July. I agree with Fresca, I wish they would keep the final Harry/Voldemort scene the way it was written.

Well @harry potter fan #1, JKR, as MorganCrowley said, has approved the changes to the book and is more than happy for it to be happening the way it is. It was probably to make it more exciting for the viewer, and to make it more tense, maybe, they had their reasons and JKR agrees. So quit slagging them off!
