My favorite would have to be Order of the Phoenix simply because it was the first film that really clicked for me. Every single actor just shined in their role, the script was excellent, and the tone fit the book. I sat in the theatre thinking, “Wow! It’s Harry Potter!”

My favorite movie of the Harry Potter series would have to be the last one, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. Regardless of reading the book, that film really made me feel on edge the entire time, I was shaking the whole time wondering if they were going to make it out safely. I was honestly terrified for their lives! Everyone acted beyond my expectations and they really did the book justice and did its purpose of retelling a story based on a book. It was understandable, not misleading at all, and filled with so much story! During the battle, they didn’t just stop all the story lines, they continued it and made it look not cheesy or corny or weird really, they made it look like as if these people are real people fighting for their lives and not just playing a role in a movie. All in all, the plot line, the actors, the screenplay — everything really, was absolutely outstanding.

My favorite movie (wow it is sooo hard to choose) is Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1. Deathly Hallows is my favorite book ever, and both parts did the book justice, but I absolutely love Part 1 because of the amazing character development. The story was different because they weren’t at Hogwarts anymore, but that just made everything more suspenseful and dangerous. You really feel the mood of three friends running for their lives. You feel their terror, you feel their confusion, you feel their anger and every emotion that they have on this incredible journey. I learned so much more about Harry, Ron, and Hermione and to what lengths they were willing to go to stop Voldemort. The acting was unbelievably incredible! I love this movie!
Prisoner of Azkaban because it’s David Thewlis’s introduction to the movies. I love his portrayal of Lupin, who is one of my favorite characters from the books. I also just enjoy the time turner sequences and how, like the book, it doesn’t seem repetitive to the storyline.

All of the Harry Potter movies are my favorite. I watch them about three times every year. But I really like prisoner of Azkaban because that’s when Hermione Says “You foul loathing evil little cockroach” and punches Draco. Which he really deserved.

My favorite of the films is definitely Chamber of Secrets because, aside from Sorcerer’s Stone, it was truest to the books. Also, aside from Sorcerer’s Stone, it is the only one where Kloves didn’t insist on making Harry look like the biggest gormless twit ever to walk the earth. It’s very important to me because Harry is actually quite intelligent but you wouldn’t know that to look at any of the last 6 movies.

Hands down my favorite film of the Harry Potter series is “The Chamber Of Secrets”… It is a great stand alone film, that also manages to be almost totally faithful to the book.
My favorite film in the series is still The Prisoner of Azkaban. I love how Cuaron made something that was not just a literal re-telling of the novel, but a beautiful film with interesting visual themes and moods. The whole time-turner sequence was fantastic. Plus, I love the new adult cast members and seeing Harry get to know his parents’ old friends. The score is one of my favorites as well.

Deathly Hallows Part 2 is my favorite film of the bunch partly because they captured the feelings I had while reading the book, and because it shows off all the talent and hard work that has gone into these films over the years.

My favourite film is Deathly Hallows Part 2. It captured everything that Harry Potter has been for last ten years; Love, lose, sacrafice, loyalty, and friendship. I grew up with all the fabulouse characters, they became a part of my family and losing so many that I loved was heartbreaking! But finally seeing it all end, and most of all seeing the next generation heading off to start their Hogwarts adventure. It was a beautiful and perfect ending to such an amazing book. As I love to say; Thank you Harry Potter, it’s been one hell of a ride! :)

My favorite movie would be Deathly Hallows Part 1. I thought this movie did the best job of portraying the book and was very well made. I also loved the decision of where to break the story to end this movie.
I enjoy Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2. It was the cinematic culmination of a generation.

It’s hard to pick between 3,5,6,7.1 &7.2 for me. I think I’ll have to go with Order of the Phoenix. Loved all of the performances in it, especially Umbridge’s. I think it adapted the book well, leaving out parts that were a bit superfluous. It definitely captured the spirit of Sirius and Harry’s relationship, and Harry’s agony at the end. Only thing I wish is that they went into the prophecy a bit more at the end with Dumbledore, like they do in the book. But overall, it’s great.
