Leaky's Daily Quotedown to Deathly Hallows: 73 Days

There are now only 73 days left until "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I" hits theaters! We are posting a quote from the first half of the book every day in celebration and to give us a chance to discuss and ponder the final book as it goes to film. Here is today's quote!

"Why does my room have to be cleaned out? Harry and I are fine with it the way it is!"

"We are holding your brother's wedding here in a few days' time, young man --"

I love that line! It’s so nice that even though there is so much darkness and the seriousness in the book there are still are a lot of funny lines.

It’s fine as ‘comic relief’ filler in the book, but as a choice for a ‘significant’ quote as part of the countdown, this line seems like weak tea to me. I can’t believe the Leaky editors have already run out of quotes that carry a little more weight in terms of creating a sense of anticipation.

I love reading these quotes, significant or not; they make me want to jump to DH when I’m only half way through CoS! :) I’ve got a lot of reading to do in only 73 days.
