There are now only 53 days left until "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I" hits theaters! We are posting a quote from the first half of the book every day in celebration and to give us a chance to discuss and ponder the final book as it goes to film. Here is today's quote!
"It's in the dungeons," said Harry clearly. "You enter through the wall. It's full of skulls and stuff and it's under the lake, so the light's all green.

Very quick thinking on Harrys part. I was so tense and scared reading this chapter, imagining Hermiones screams, Rons frustration at not being able to do anything and the chaos of what was happening. I think i must have held my breath for the entire chapter!
Greyback saying he wants to bite Hermione, so terrifying!
Then at the very end of the chapter my heart truly and utterly broke “Harry……. Potter……..”. Broken, completely. Dobby <3 :’(

A good example of the way in which JKR puts things into the books in what seems to be a casual way, or even as a joke, that turn out to be important later on.

This was a really tough chapter for me to read. Hermione was so strong, and poor Ron and his frustration and not being able to help her… my worse fear is always hearing someone i love being hurt and not being able to save them.

Seeing the quotes get me all sad inside :( I’ve done like, everything I possibly could to not look at any (well one or two here and there) photos from the movie and I refuuuuuuuse to see the trailers. They get me really upset and emotional, especially the poster of Hogwarts in flames.

Really terrifying chapter. I held my breath for the whole chapter. Hermione was quite intelligent and Harry was a quick thinker. This whole chapter was an OMG moment. I really hate Voldemort, he always wanted to kill Harry just for a prophecy. What was Harry’s fault only this that he was mentioned in the prophecy.
First!
