Leaky's Daily Quotedown to Deathly Hallows: 61 Days

There are now only 61 days left until "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I" hits theaters!  We are posting a quote from the first half of the book every day in celebration and to give us a chance to discuss and ponder the final book as it goes to film. Here is today's quote!

"Why did half of us never even know she existed, until they carried the coffin out of the house and held a funeral for her? Where was saintly Albus while Ariana was locked in the cellar? Off being brilliant at Hogwarts, and never mind what was going on in his own house!"
- Auntie Muriel

Another Auntie Muriel quote. I’m thinking someone at Leaky most really like her or love to hate her. LOL

I still love her though. She’s hilarious. And in all fairness, she was merely stating what she believed to be true. Its not like anyone really knew. Although the Dumbledore’s were entitled to their privacy considering what happened to poor Arianna.

This was such a sad story. So calmly and sensitively told by Auntie Muriel, with the whole truth adhered to…

I think Ariana’s story (and Dumbledore’s childhood) is so desperately sad. I really hope we get to hear all of it in the film, even though Dumbledore is not phsically there to guide Harry, he’s still a constant presence throughout the hole book.

I hated finding about Dumbledore’s past. I mean this is the Dumbledore, that is loved and cherished by so many poeple.
But there’s only 2 more months till the Deathly Hallows releases!

I think they will probably have her as a background character or someone resemballing her, we might have to see the movie a couple times to notice it though
