A Seattle based news blog is reporting that the Pacific Science Center in Seattle could be the next location for Harry Potter: The Exhibition:

"Pacific Science Center in Seattle will announce that it will host the West coast premiere and final U.S. destination of a major exhibition," according to a statement from the Science Center. "A film star from blockbuster major motion pictures will be joined by costumed children for this exciting announcement."

All of these things indicate the possibility that Harry Potter: the Exhibition may move to Seattle after it finishes its run in Toronto. The Pacific Science Center will announce what its newest exhibit is tomorrow.

The Exhibition will remain at its current location, the Ontario Science Center, until September 6th.

Certainly seems like it’s headed for Seattle next. And of course it’ll come to the UK. It’s the birthplace of Harry Potter for crying out loud

I don’t understand? If it is such a great exhibit; why are they limiting the exhibit sites? Also, what is with all this secrecy and they can’t anounce the sites? What people can’t plan or have soemthing to look forward to? I’m glad it’s coming to Seattle, just a couple hours from Portland.

“Final stop” Are you kidding?! There are too many places for this exhibit to go yet – Philly, New York, Phoenix, Atlanta, London, Dallas, Hong Kong, Tokyo, etc. This should be a never-ending touring exhibit. I’ve been folowing the news in hopes that it will get to Philadelphia – there will be tons of saddened fans if the exhibit stops at 4 or 5 sites.

Oops! Forgive me – I typed and vented before searching on my own. As the article post-er points out this is a “rumor.” Whoever reported that Seattle was the final stop did not look closely at the exhibit webiste (http://www.harrypotterexhibition.com/) which clearly states, “More locations coming soon.” sighs in relief

That would be wonderful for fans in the Greater Vancouver, BC area and for the fans in Seattle and area too. I hope the rumour is true! Thanks to the posters who have visited the Exhibition and have not spoiled it for all the others too. I go to see it in two weeks in Toronto and am really looking forward to it.
